It was more maker-driven and less corporate and it had the functionality and customization I was looking for.
YNAB (You Need A Budget)
I like the product. Main missing feature: multiple currency support - it's super strange, given it's a tool dealing with money.
There's quite a learning curve, but I'm liking their approach to budgeting!
