I stumbled on Hera while looking for faster ways to create motion graphics, and it’s one of those tools that feels like a genuine time-saver. Instead of wrestling with After Effects or spending hours on small details, Hera turns simple text prompts into polished animations in just minutes. It’s quick, clean, and surprisingly fun to use—especially if you’re not a professional designer but still want professional-looking results. The best part is how much friction it removes from the creative process. You can go from idea to animation almost instantly, preview different styles, and export in multiple formats like MP4 or GIF. The fact that it generates code-based animations also means you get more control if you want to fine-tune things later. For marketers, content creators, or teams who need motion on a regular basis, this feels like a serious productivity boost without the usual steep learning curve. That said, it’s not without trade-offs. The outputs are impressive, but every now and then Hera can misinterpret prompts or deliver results that need extra tweaking. And while basic use is very straightforward, digging into advanced customization does take some time to get used to. Still, compared to the traditional alternatives, those small hurdles feel minor—overall, Hera strikes a great balance between speed and creative control.

I've been using Hera for over half a year now and it keeps getting better and better. It makes work faster, it makes creating visuals very easy and anybody who can type can use it. I can confidently say that the progress Hera made in the last 6 months or so is huge. When you have a problem they contact you back, when you give constructive feedback they take it into account, when you report a bug they start working on a fix. That's my experience thus far. Yes, Hera has its limits for now but it keeps getting better and with enough time and effort I believe it could become (and for many use cases it already is) the perfect alternative for advanced softwares such as After Effects. Even if you don't have any experience with advanced editing, Hera makes motion design super easy and intuitive.

I've been using Hera for the last 3 months and it has added wonderful creative elements to my videos. The team continues to make tweaks and improvements and it just keeps getting better. Very excited to see where things go.

Super cool and has huge potential to simplify complex workflows. Still, for users without coding background, it may take a bit to get fully comfortable tweaking parameters. More beginner-friendly onboarding would be great.

It's quite bad. I asked it to generate a pie chart that highlights 30%, and the "30%" section is larger than 45% lol.
