I’ve been using Trae for a short time and already see how it significantly streamlines the coding process. Its AI-driven task planning, automated environment setup, and real-time previews make development both faster and more intuitive. It’s like having a coding partner that anticipates your next step and clears most of the roadblocks before you even notice them. There’s huge potential here—Trae isn’t just keeping up with tools like Cursor, it’s rapidly carving out its own space as an indispensable aid for developers at all levels. Definitely worth trying out!
Our team has gone all-in on Trae—it’s now the only AI IDE in our workflow. The polished, intuitive UI plus Trae’s deep context awareness and live previews have dramatically sped up coding, testing, and delivery. Since switching away from Cursor, development feels smoother and collaboration sharper. Easily the best productivity boost we’ve had this year!
I've been using Trae for a little bit now and I really enjoy the aesthetic of it. I find it is much nicer to use than Windsurf and Cursor. My only constructive feedback is that I dislike the inability to be able to customise the layout / theming as I choose.
I have to give it five stars! The new Solo mode is amazing! I used to have to go back and forth to find the context when writing code, and it was easy to lose my train of thought. Now with the Solo mode, it's like having a personal assistant with a super memory, and I can devote myself to creation. The AI's answers have become more accurate and profound because of the complete project background. The whole coding experience is more smooth than before. The developers understand users too well, and this update really solves the biggest pain point! Highly recommended!

I enjoy the workflow and the collaboration that Trae provides with AI. I enjoy the IDE. As a Mobile Developer, I was thinking it won't go seamlessly with Flutter and Dart, but I am still able to debug my apps well as though I am using VS Code.
I started using it after the 2.0 update. I’d been following since the 1.0 days, though it felt pretty rough back then. Gave 2.0 a solid month of use—then actually came back to this page just to leave a review. Honestly, it’s my main AI editor now. Quick rundown of why I’m sticking with it: Great value — gets you like 90% of what the top editors offer without the crazy cost. The updates are constant — they’ve come a long way from 1.0 to 2.0, and I’m sure 3.0 will be huge. Even if people aren’t using it yet, you still gotta keep an eye on what they’re up to. Really hoping it just keeps getting better! 🙌
Five stars without a doubt! The new Solo mode is absolutely fantastic! I used to constantly switch contexts while coding, which easily broke my train of thought. Now, with Solo mode, it's like having a personal assistant with an incredible memory—I can fully focus on creating. The AI’s responses have also become significantly more accurate and insightful thanks to the complete project context. The entire coding experience has been elevated to a whole new level of smoothness. The developers truly understand users’ needs—this update solves the biggest pain point perfectly. Highly recommended!
I have no doubt that Trae has the potential to be an excellent AI-assisted integrated development environment (IDE). However, the strict Terms of Service and Policy Mode clearly indicate that the primary goal of this IDE is to collect as much private data as possible. This IDE is a great choice for students or for fun side projects that do not involve any business-related activities.
Good Product I'm using last few weeks. and it's work well especially first prompt. sometime or most of the time. if i try to fix something it's won't fix but always say it's fix but it won't i face the issue most of the time. i think it's happen with most of the vibe codding tool.. but trae ai pricing just wow. hope they will improve that issue.
Super great looking UI! First time I see an UI like this, that's why I switched from VS Code to Trae. And the AIs are free (for now) ! So having a free AI with you that can understand your workspace can help you code if you don't know how to code!
It's an IDE with a lot of potential. As a frequent pro user, I still find the agent's ability to store context very limited compared to its competitors. This leads to bigger hallucinations than I'd have with Claude Code.
Good AI tools can solve most repetitive work. Even complex tasks can be well completed as long as they can be broken down into smaller requirements. Although there is still a gap compared to Cursor, I hope it continues to improve.
