Bruno the API Client Explorer is an exceptional tool that makes exploring and testing APIs incredibly intuitive and efficient. Its user-friendly interface, powerful features, and seamless integration capabilities make it a must-have for developers who want to speed up their workflow and gain deeper insights into APIs effortlessly. Simply put, Bruno transforms API exploration into a smooth and enjoyable experience! I tried Insomnia and Postman, they kept prompting to show new amazing features that only cost this much... I got fed up with it.
Great product, on par with more expensive API clients we've used in the past and Open Source!
Bruno is like a fresh implementation of a good REST and GraphQL clients. Now that Insomnia and Postman have moved into this subscription/account models I couldn't wait to try another tool and Bruno has been really great with a lot of its features like Git versioning for my queries to support manage secrets or also having different kinds of environments it's the perfect replacement from insomnia at least for the way I've been using HTTP clients for the last 7 years!
Great little http client. I appreciate the simplicity and the focus on developer experience. UI is not as advanced as some competitors, but provides the essentials and has great features, such as git-based synchronization. This is my go-to http client now.
I've been using Bruno mainly to design and test my FastAPI project, but it works well for other APIs too. I like that it's open source and runs locally—no need to sign up or send data anywhere. Really a great little tool.
The last resort for those looking for a decent open source API tool without corporate bloat. Storing stuff in text files is weird at first, but isn't it the right way to go for sharing without lock ins?
We've been using it for a year and love it. Easy to set up and use. Best of all: having the source of truth in Git is the killer feature I've been looking for for years.
Excellent alternative to Postman. Equifax has outlawed Postman from a security perspective. Bruno is 100% offline.
Bruno revolutionized my API workflow with its simplicity, speed, and local-first approach. No more cloud hassles!
Bruno is simple and straightforward, I use it every time I need to test an API endpoint.
