As a regular and active user, what makes Wiser a lot more useful for me, compared to many others, is that this is a platform where I know everything is curated by people and not just a random algorithm trying to figure out what I want. With the current trajectory of the internet and social platforms, we need more places like Wiser to make organic curation and collection more accessible and enjoyable.
If you love gathering information (like an info-maniac), you'll find the perfect tool in a curation platform. It allows you to collect resources on any topic that interests you, as well as the content you consume. The user interface is modern and easy to use, and as a frequent user, I'm quite satisfied with Wiser.
My experience with wiser has been the worst. They charged me alot more then what was mentioned for a 1 month subscription and after that I have been trying to connect with the support team to cancel my subscription and I’m getting no response from the customer support team.
I love this concept and the UI of the app. I'm a learning professional and we have talked a lot about the need to build something like this inside our company. I do most of my "intellectual" work at my desk, though, and note that only the mobile app is available.
While subscribing to the app is straightforward, the cancellation process is confusing and lacks transparency. The most frustrating part is the complete absence of customer support to assist with cancellations or refund requests.
