Respeecher Marketplace

I am using Respeecher for pre-production for an upcoming AAA video game title. With just a few actors, we can record temp VO for all the characters, then use Respeecher to alter the voices. This is an invaluable tool because we can get a sense of how dialog works within the game before going into the studio and recording final VO. Using text-to-speech for temp VO just results in bad acting and is distracting. Respeecher and a real actor make all the difference it the world. Respeecher will be instrumental in bringing the writing on the game to even higher levels.

We have used Respeecher Marketplace for example in a project where it was used to enrich storytelling in a Podcast series. The narrators of the series are not all real people, even though you might think so. Some of them are AI-generated versions of real narrators and these AI-narrators enrich the volume and the variety of storytelling; people of many ages, different backgrounds and dialects tell the same story. Each human narrator's voice were converted into 1-3 artificial voices using Respeecher Marketplace. The result is pretty awesome!

I sometimes work as an English dubbing actor and every time you start working on a project someone will request at least a few option to test out. Many actors also fulfill many roles on a typical project and while their talent and sound design magic can do wonders, some additional tech could really help in scaling talent of actor for multiple roles. This seems like a great product that empower actor and production teams.

This tool has a friendly interface and a really large list of voices. It allows listening to every voice sample before the creation of own recording. Using this technology and your voice you can create a totally new character.
