Polymarket successfully predicted the fed rate cut to be 50bps when all of Wall Street was saying it'd be 25bps… I also watched as it said Biden would drop out of the race when the entirety of the media said he wasn't… time & time again, Polymarket has truly lived up to its tagline of "tomorrow's news today"

Complete scam with the way bets are resolved. Lost a couple hundred bucks because I bet on Trump not actually going through with the tariffs. He didn't and I was right, but the bet was already resolved against me before the tariffs were actually imposed. There's a customer service which says it responds in 2-4 hours, but they never respond. Pure scam, don't bother.

Polymarket is a great site for betting but the staff are utterly incompetent and useless at stemming the derogatory and sexually violent comments being left by other users. There's no attempt to even keep the discussion civil. Reporting comments does nothing.

I also did not expect Polymarket to be such a scam, but the best way to win here is to check how the big UMA whales vote. E.g., „Israel x Iran ceasefire before July?“ had a 99% Yes chance, even though that is not true!
