Pieces for Developers

This is such a great app. And also the option to all things offline, without an account. This is a godsend. Thanks to the developers for being considerate. Ollama support would be nice, instead of downloading the model again.

Pieces is the kind of tool you don't know you need until you have it, and suddenly, you can't live without it. Even if you dislike AI and think it produces nothing good, you still should use pieces, at it's core it's a context powerhouse. If you write a lot of code that you could reuse in another context, it's the tool for you. That's how I found pieces almost 2 years ago. The AI features on top are helping you get things done!

Hey, Pieces is a very great tool. I have a point here that will ease the developer's workflow even more easily. When I prompt for something, I can see my data is streaming and the letters are popping out and it gets scrolled automatically as a result I can't see the content while it's streaming the data, I have to wait till the data gets generated and then I need to scroll.

An absolute powerhouse with an easy-to-use interface. Endless usability, even beyond an IDE. Leverage real-time live context or ask Pieces questions about what you were doing in the last hour. Tailored responses based on your current tasks make it an indispensable tool. Will continue to use for the foreseeable future.

Just started using Pieces after Ellie Z. mentioned it on X.com. So far the developer experience has been pretty straight-forward and easy to install and get started. I tested the Copilot and it works great. I look forward to start using it in my development workflow.

It is a great deal! It offers local LLM integrated with all your work through context. It works as its own, inside vscode, obsidian, chrome and many more! A must go if you ever tried setting ollama on your own. It supports both CPU and GPU models!
