Great so far!!
My advice -- stay away from Resume Worded. They will force you, in very deceptive way, into a subscription you do not want. They use a front -- Paddle.com -- to manage subscriptions. Once you realize what happened -- you will have to deal with Paddle.com for a while as they have robot responses and connecting with a real person takes an act of God. Then, Resume Worded will play innocent and all they will do is stop subscription renewal, no refunds. All this, while you waste your time for months as resolving the issue is far from simple. They will send you to their website and direct you to look for an obscure form that is impossible to find. Be careful, move on to other options.
I can't remember a product experience I had that was as good as Resume Worded. I didn't know if my resume was good. I didn't have the confidence in it. But along came this tool. It guided me through the process of writing an effective one. It showed me the ins and outs of writing a STRONG resume, and not one that just looks good. After all its the interviews that matter, and this tool shows you how to get interviews. I can honestly say this tool was worth every penny. I wasn't paid to write this nor was I asked by the team. I just had to express my joy when a hiring manager told me today that I had one of the best, to the point CVs they'd seen in a while. This works, folks!
To say Resume Worded was helpful would be a massive understatement. It was a total gamechanger. I was really struggling with my job search, literally getting non stop rejected from every company. I uploaded my resume to Resume Worded, and realized it was a very subpar one. After making changes, specifically adding in accomplishments, removing issues like bad grammar and punctuation, I submitted my resume to a bunch of companies and got a very different, positive response. I've been complimented a ton on my resume from hiring managers, and I now help my friends with their resumes too ;) Btw, the newsletter is a total gem. Highly highly recommend.
This product was what made a difference in my job search. Trust me. I tried everything. From hiring TWO resume writers, to using some of the other software out there, you name it. All of that didn't work, but Resume Worded did. It showed me glaring mistakes I was making on my resume. Once I fixed those, I started noticing more callbacks. Its newsletter and other tools like networking templates and LinkedIn, make this the best and most 'worth it' thing I've ever paid for. Thank you!
I had a terrible experience with Resume Worded. The product is not intuitive at all, making it difficult to use effectively. Despite stopping usage early on, I was shocked to find that they automatically charged my credit card without any confirmation or prior notice. To make matters worse, when I reached out for a refund, their support was unresponsive and unhelpful. It seems like they follow shady billing practices, making it almost impossible to get your money back. I strongly advise others to beware before signing up. This feels like a scam, and I wouldn’t trust them with my payment details again. Avoid at all costs!
Their site is not geared towards everyday people with adequate jobs. If you aren't some "big time" executive who manages over 30 employees or a someone in tech who deals with SQL or other big corporate companies, then this website is not for you. I would not recommend their site at all. And when I contacted support, they were dismissive and cocky. I won't recommend them and will be getting a refund.
Best tool ever for my job search. Free version was amazing. Paid version was SO useful. Best part were the sample resume bullet points and the Score My Resume tool. It tells you what mistakes you're making with really good suggestions and feedback. Best thing ever. Thanks to the team.
Detailed, actionable, unobtrusive, and helpful resume and career platform. Free version was amazing, paid version was super worth it (I got a great role and people told me how good my resume was, and I attribute that to Resume WOrded!)
There is still room for improvement in Resume Worded's ability to scan documents. However, I suspect that this is potentially a pro in disguise. Since general ATS probably have those same issues when it comes to scanning correctly.
Website is super slow and they didn’t spell my name write despite it being on the resume that I uploaded and on the card I used to pay for the pro service.
