One of the best devex tool in the business. There are two types of people, those who are hungry to track and improve and those who are scared. This is a tool to help you track where your time spent and how often you can achieve flow state. As a full-time dev, its fascinating to see how little coding I was doing. Bogged down with meetings, interruptions from co-workers, I was almost never was able to singularly focus on one task. I have been able to get insights on how to improve my experience as a dev.

I have greater visibility in to my work habits, and the best part is: I own that data. I become better from it. I realized how much it influences me when on a particular day, I was struggling with work, and I had only 16 minutes of coding left to hit my goal for the day set by Perspect. In that rut of a day, I never felt so motivated. That's when I knew I found a tool that could really multiply my capacity as a developer and data scientist.

It's definitely revealing potential issues with frequency of interrupts. Maybe one of the unintended benefits of this app is that it's not only helping me to see my focus levels, but helping me to focus on how much focus I'm achieving. This is giving me a new indicator that I can observe and work to improve. I'm even adapting my working hours to better achieve more focus since using this app.
