The Rewind app has saved me multiple times when my app crashed or my kids accidentally deleted my text by allowing me to recover the messages I had typed. However, I cannot say it's perfect yet for a couple of reasons: It consumes a significant amount of battery life. It lacks multi-language support for features like search and transcriptions. The summary feature could be improved. I understand that Rewind faces a more challenging task compared to most summarizing apps, as it needs to summarize long sequences of text rather than just a single meeting. Despite these drawbacks, Rewind has proven to be a valuable tool for me!

I have adhd and this has kind of changed my life. So much of my life is starting something, getting distracted by something else, and then completely forgetting what I was doing before, where I found useful information, etc. It has really been a game-changer for me. It also takes better meeting notes than I ever have. I downloaded it on a wim on launch, and even though I don't use it every day when I do, it saves me so much time trying to remember where I found or read something, and it saves me worry all the time because I am not trying to keep track of a million things at once. I had to come back and write a review.

Well, you guys are building up something interesting here! Just tried the “Ask Rewind” feature and got an extensive reply of where is the recycling station I was looking for, based on a screenshot I took inside Google Lens. The app was able to point out that I was using Google Lens to translate from Thai to English, and reminded me of the types of plastics that are accepted at the recycling station. Now, any plans of including photos as well? If I can ask Rewind: “What is the name of the florist where I bought roses for my girlfriend?” —assuming that there is a photo that shows the facade and that I'm giving permission to check the metadata— well, that would be a game changer.

It's useful to be able to recall docs, images, video/audio replays and recall a specific part of the videos you watched. Definitely , the most easy to use and useful manifestation of a Second Brain concept. With latest GPT query, it should make search and recall a lot more natural and interactive to narrow down the contextual results and more benefit having longer history. The cons: Storage requirements is huge though and is being looked into. They promised good news soon! Secondly, it does have an impact on my battery life and cpu usage. So I am careful when I am remote untethered on battery and trying to multitask.

I have a traumatic brain injury, so remembering things can be a bit of a pain, finding myself redoing the same things a few times over in slightly different ways. Since I’ve been using Rewind, I’ve been able to put an end to a lot of that, and with it get things done a lot faster, not just with work but also in my personal life. It is hands down the single most important tool I use today, and is an utter joy to have. Rewind is a search engine for ideas, and lets you return to the mindset when you had them, and understand why.

As a musician, artist, and consultant, I initially thought this tool might serve one of my niches well. I have been delighted to see its use in all areas of my workflow. Meetings are less stress now that I can fully engage in the meeting and go back later to read through transcripts. I'm happy to see that features are constantly rolling out, and the core feature of going back through what I've done on my computer visually on a timeline has saved my hide on more than a few occasions (had a database get deleted and had to go back through previous build to find designs I used and codes I implemented into websites, had to reference websites I pulled up during meetings that I didn't have saved, etc.). Love the team, love the mission, love the product. A++++

From the onboarding process, to actually using the tool for the first time, and then on subsequent days Rewind is legitimately kind of magical. With respect to the search and timeline features (not the *great* meeting transcription features from Scribe) I can see it becoming a mainstay for any and everyone for maintaining flow across projects and time. Really reduces the cognitive overhead of finding and remembering things I've done during my day to day. It used minimal resources and the fact that it's all local alleviates all my general privacy concerns (that and it not coming from a bigger tech company). While I can imagine a couple of UX changes that might need to be made to selectively prune and improve scrubbing through your history after long-term use as well as tweaks to ignore certain portions of sites so its not flooded with useless info (currently you can just block the site entirely) I can confidently say in its current form it's legitimately game changing. I have real faith the team will be able to add even better, smarter features on this solid base.

Amazing free plan, it lets you put the pen and paper (or notetaking tool of your choice) aside and concentrate on what's happening in front of you. Mild annoyance (or maybe shortcoming on my part) that I often forget to stop recording. But this doesn't affect the operation of the software, and is only a minor issue. All in all, would recommend!

I’m sure they’ll get there but it’s not working now. It will not pick up the audio/transcribe conversations consistently. It is very difficult to read conversations on the phone without sending it over through text/email, and it accurately transcribes words at a rate less than 80%. I regret buying the pro version but am sure they will refine the product to be more effective.

The pendant is ok, the app is fine. However, after 2 weeks, my pendant stopped working and I've been trying to get ahold of customer service for over a week and NO ONE is responding. So while the product, when it worked, was useful, the customer support is horrible and the item is not reliable.
