I've been using maestro in the company I work for for more than 2 years now and it was the core reason why we were able to reach a huge level of impact with the tests. We currently have something close to 150 tests running, mixed with e2e and hermetic (mocked) ones. We run an average of 6500 UI tests on PRs per week. And now with this new Maestro Studio Desktop IDE is enhancing the devexp even more, with potential to keep engineers (yes, here engineers are responsible for building and maintaining tests) even more productive. Good job on everything folks, happy to be part of it!
Maestro is so powerful! We achieved 10x efficiency with only 1/10 of the original code compard to previous UI automation framework during the migration to Maestro. Its simple and clear syntax made it easy for our team to quickly move a large number of bottomline and golden test cases. It also helped us catch regressions earlier and more often. Maestro has greatly improved our mobile testing process—faster, cleaner, and much easier to maintain.
We use Maestro at Kindred to run regression test on our most critical paths in our iOS and Anrdoid apps. It took me only a few days to write the test, setup CI (including Maestro Cloud). I used the Maestro Studio Desktop app to help debug the test (e.g. why is this element not accessible, etc...). Super useful.
Very good for implementing tests in Flutter. However, it lacks a bit of documentation.
