Pros: - non custodial wallet, keys are stored on my computer - Can be used with Ledger Cons: - Too many clicks to change gas for transaction - glitchy transactions, sometimes it freezes and I need to restart the whole wallet - It's still kind of slow, you need to wait a couple of seconds between each step - NFT and ERC-20 tokens aren't loaded automatically, you need to manually import them
A reference in Web3! 🦊 Metamask is the no-brainer choice when picking a decentralized wallet for both crypto and NFTs, whether it's on mobile or desktop. It's definitely one of the best existing options, versatile and intuitive. The top wallet for anyone desiring to enter Web3!
Huge thanks to MetaMask for making Sign in with Ethereum seamless and secure! 🔑✨ Their wallet and Web3 integration simplify onboarding and authentication, letting us focus on building great experiences.
Metamask is our bridge to the blockchain. It makes wallet integration simple for users and easy to test on our side. Security feels solid, but the UI can overwhelm non-crypto people—we’ve seen some of our testers get lost on their first try. That said, it’s become the de facto standard, so having it in our stack was a no-brainer.
This is the first wallet I used back in 2019 and I've been using it ever since. It is compatible with most blockchains and if you need to add a custom networks it's super simple and so is adding custom tokens. They recently added cross chain bridging and of coarse you can do things like swap and stake right from your wallet which is great.
MetaMask is an excellent crypto wallet, seamlessly combining user-friendly design with robust functionality. It supports a wide range of tokens, integrates effortlessly with decentralized applications (DApps), and ensures secure storage with features like seed phrase backup and hardware wallet support. Its browser extension and mobile app make managing crypto on the go simple and efficient, making it a top choice for both beginners and advanced Web3 users.
Was one of my first crypto wallets. Not very easy to use, it has been improving. Regretfully, lately I'm experiencing too much lag in simple operations, so may consider changing it. We will wait a bit more
I love how compatible this wallet is and how easy it is to connect to other mainnets and testnets as well.
I have been trading with metamask broker for few months now but my main concern is it doesn't accept withdrawal request, mine is not approved until I file a report to a fund recovery specialist called Gavinray on his ma il Gavinray78 gmail com he gave a rapid aid to my withdrawal problems.
Still my go-to wallet for Web3 - I really like how they've expanded on the portfolio view they give users access to over the last 12 months. I think there's more they can do with the visibility around NFTs though, often they don't pull through very well to the extension.
I believe MetaMask invests a lot into their UX and security, which is important to see as a user. They also stay up to date with trends and constantly make improvements. They have a good reputation and we enjoy using it.
Big fan of MetaMask. Superbly useful :)
