I'm the co-founder of Parkfield Commerce, as well as caseo.ai, which is a Shopify AI enablement app for merchants. It writes out all your text for you, everything from product descriptions all the way through to alt text. Building it with Gadget has been an amazing road. Without Gadget it would probably would have taken us six months just to build an MVP. It actually took us about 30 days with it, so I couldn't recommend Gadget any higher. A great thing as well is, the release of their AI assistant tool, which massively reduces development time. We use it for everything from finding webhook filters to writing computed fields with gelly. We also use it for finding errors within the Gadget code base that we're writing. So it's been a phenomenal tool and I'm excited to see where it goes, but so far it's been great.

I rarely use the term "game-changer" but Gadget is one of those cases where I find myself at ease of saying it: it handles most of the infrastructure in the development of Shopify apps (and not having to think about infrastructure and setting up webhooks is a huge plus) allowing us to focus mainly on the actual app development. I don't want to sound TOO flattering for Gadget but in a time where AI is mostly a buzzword their AI assistant is based on your own code base and helped us adding quick MVP versions of future features.

Although I normally shy away from AI dev tools, my client asked me to try out Gadget, and I was pleasantly surprised at the result. I had an urgent need to get a Shopify app built and ready for deployment for a client, and Gadget's AI tools saved me from having to dig in to learn Shopify's APIs and markup languages, as well as deal with the tedious configuration and setup of a Shopify App. Gadget's AI pretty much handled it all for me, including connecting to our Shopify API, handling authorizations and installations of the app, managing data and users between Shopify and our app, and creating an incredibly well designed user-interface integrated with Shopify Admin - all while following my specifications, requests, and software development plans. Impressive, to say the least!

I use Gadget for a few personal projects as well as professionally, often to build quick integrations and demo proof of concepts. I love the ability to quickly have an app, in production, that I can share with others without the need to worry about anything but the core features and modelling of the data. With the new AI integrations they've pushed, I'm confident I'll be able to move even quicker. Love it!
