I feel like I'm super behind on learning the power of Alfred but WOW the workflows probably save at least 30min of time in my day I have no idea how I lived without Alfred. The one time lifetime payment is a no-brainer, I know I'm going to be using it for as long as I have a Mac.
Alfred has been the foundation of my productivity stack for a decade. It's such an essential part of how I use my Mac, that not having it would be debilitating.
When I open a new MacBook, Alfred is the first app I install. It’s so ingrained in me that MacOS will be different without it.
I'd find macOS unbearable without Alfred. It's easy to forget what "clean" macOS was like, because they've been shipping features that replace or complement what was a separate app, back in the day. I use this instead of Spotlight. I use it with a Pomodoro timer script that someone wrote and I just grabbed in <5m. I use it for all my keyboard shortcuts, because it's much faster than cmd+tabbing or anything similar. I use it for expansions for boilerplate code and LaTeX. I'm sure there are other, fancier features, but I don't use those. Alfred 4 was worth the money. The upgrade to 5 wasn't super worth it for me, but I did so to support the creators anyway.
Alfred is a game-changer for Mac users! This productivity app has revolutionized the way I work. With its intuitive hotkeys, keywords, and text expansion features, I can accomplish tasks in half the time. The search function is lightning-fast, and the ability to control my Mac with custom actions using the Powerpack is incredibly powerful. Alfred has streamlined my workflow, and I can't imagine going back to my old ways. 5 stars and a must-have for anyone looking to boost their productivity on macOS!
I’ve been using Alfred 5 and it’s a fantastic productivity tool. It offers powerful features like quick search, custom workflows, and clipboard history that streamline daily tasks. Compared to other productivity apps, Alfred 5 stands out with its versatility and ease of use. It’s perfect for anyone looking to boost efficiency and save time. Highly recommend!
You're still using Spotlight in 2025? Seriously? Alfred is superior and faster than Spotlight. It's a good app and has a lot of functions. I always recommend Alfred as a Spotlight replacement.
For me, Alfred is a tool that at this point is essential to the Mac OS operating system. It would be really hard to go back to a life without the shortcuts and functionality it enables.
This is a must-have Mac app for me! So many useful workflows, and that's before any of the AI integration. Snippets, quick links, and converters are all so handy.
I've been using this app for at least 3,5 years. I use snippets, workflows automation, featured clipboard, and smart Alfred "spotlight". Flawless.
Makes it so easy to bring up web searches and apps.
I love it and I use the free version!
No-brainer. The first app to install every time.
