ruttl is awesome at what it does, by simply helping us collect and fix feedback on websites. You can leave notes, record videos, and add files right on a live page. Guests can join with a link — without siging in. Using ruttl has cut down our meetings and helped us make changes faster. Best things: - Easy commenting: You can leave text or video notes directly on the page so developers know what to fix. - No signup for guests: Share a link and clients can give feedback right away. - All in one place: It track bugs and tasks on a simple board. - Add files: Attach screenshots, videos, or other files to explain problems. - Trusted: Used by lots of businesses. Obvious ones: - Works best with other tools: You may still need extra apps for some workflows. - Price: Small, one-time projects might find this unnecessary. We're really happy with ruttl. It makes feedback clear, saves time, and helps us fix things faster.

Ruttl is good when it works, the issue is that we'd be using it and out of nowhere a new feature would be added but something else would break. The fix for this issue then takes weeks, or promises are made about when issues would be rectified and it takes constant following up to actually get an update. Features like custom domain and user permission management just break too, meaning that this isn't a tool ready for client facing work unless you are just starting out.

Started using Ruttl for a few months now, really cool for our design-dev reviews. Unlike other tools which often force feedback into separate tools or require extensions, Ruttl lets me comment and even tweak live websites directly without any plug-ins. Even intuitive and quick, the UI is clean too and we actually enjoys giving feedback now.

As a dev, ruttl helps me spot bugs right on the live site instead of relying on screenshots or vague descriptions. It cuts out the endless back-and-forth with designers—what's broken is clear in context. Great for speeding up issue detection and fixes.

Unfortunately, a lot of bugs that do not allow me to use this app in production. Charged money for the PRO subscription, subscription is not applied, sad. Support useless, they say: "It works on my machine", lol. The subscription price is tricky, because the minimum number of seats is two, even though I don't need two. Fell for the prices and gave me a headache for a couple of days. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Looking for another alternative.

As a front-end developer I can tell that ruttl does makes a difference when it comes to website review. I was really fed up with the long mail chains and google doc reviews. ruttl makes the reviewing process so much easier and seamless for me and my clients also. ruttl also offers a variety of features that product similar to ruttl does not offer. I recommend this to all the front-end devs out there to do give ruttl a try.
