pcWRT Secure WiFi Router

The pcWRT router is a great way to bypass China's GFW! I travel to China regularly for business and need a reliable VPN to bypass the GFW. I've used multiple VPNs but all of them fail at some point. I did extensive research and found the pcWRT router, with which I can set up my own VPN server at home in the US. The setup was pretty straightforward because the router also has built-in Dynamic DNS support. To be on the safe side, I actually set up three VPN servers, one for each protocol supported by the router. Just in case one protocol fails, I can try the other two protocols. But so far I only needed to use the WireGuard connection. I highly recommend this router for anyone who needs a way to get around the GFW.

I use the pcWRT router for parental controls. Prior to this I was using Netgear Circle, which was buggy and slow. And I had to pay a monthly fee. The pcWRT router provides lots of control options and the functions are solid. No impact on network speed either!

The value for money is outstanding. A feature-rich product without breaking the bank. Excited to see it evolve further!
