The app has changed since my last visit. It feels safer and more secure. The software is user-friendly, and the feedback is genuinely constructive. In particular, I like the summary function; it helps me verify if I've covered all the vital points during presentations. I previously had an issue with deleting the app from my computer. It's great that the Poised team could address and fix that! Congratulations on a successful launch, and best of luck!
Poised is such an awesome tool for anyone who wants to improve their speech patterns and word choices while in meetings. I have found it improved my verbal communication offline as well. Becoming more aware of the fillers words that I used really has helped me become a better speaker.
Be careful when using this product, it will add an ad for their product on EVERY meeting description that you organize on Google Meet. I found it very intrusive when they simply edited all my meetings to add an ad for their product. I'm currently managing most of the recurring meetings at my team, so it was a surprise to me when my teammates raised a concern about this description change. I had to manually edit all dailies, retros, plannings, 1:1s to remove this. Also, it seems that Poised sends all your video and microphone data in real-time to their servers so they can process it and give feedback to you. This uses a lot of bandwidth and can impact the quality of your call, depending on your internet. Overall the idea of the product is great, but for a product that is recording your camera and microphone all the time, they should care more about user privacy.
I really love this product - it enables me to move through a full calendar of varied calls with purpose and engage in the what's truly needed in each conversation for it to be a success - it helps me to double-down on clarity when needed, notice when my natural tendency for hedging words is showing up - and flagging it up when I'm getting carried away and speaking too fast. So many extra features coming thick and fast - it is hands-down the most thoughtful and well-crafted AI tool I've seen.
I've been using Poised for six months, and it just keeps getting more useful month over month as they add more features and insights on how I'm performing in my meetings. It's super easy to digest all the feedback it offers, but also you can minimize it and just take a couple quick data points per call if that's all you have time for.
The Poised app has been a great support and guide on my communication improvement journey – providing insights about clarity, pausing, words per minute, filler words, tone, etc. Another excellent feature is the reports for every meeting. I would recommend Poised for improving communication.
Have been in sales as an individual contributor & leader for 11+ years. Never seen any tool providing real-time actionable feedback. Initially felt it might be distracting on calls & prevent me from actively listening. But it actually helped me have better conversations. Can't even imagine how powerful this is & can become for not just sellers but consultants, trainers, presenters & public speakers. Wow! Would highly recommend this. Try it!
I've been a dedicated user of Poised for quite some time, and I cannot emphasize enough how invaluable it has been, especially as a non-native English speaker. It's quite disheartening to receive feedback suggesting to enhance communication - which, frankly, is far from constructive. That's where Poised has been a game-changer for me, with its real-time suggestions that never cease to amaze. Keep moving the needle!
I love the poised app and vision because it helps me be more intentional with my meeting prep. Before I used to wing a lot of my meetings but the Poised AI makes me more aware of questions that could be asked that I did not previously consider. This results in me understanding/mastering the material even more. Thanks to the Poised team! :)
Never experienced customer support so horrible as the one on Poised. the 14-day trial has been nothing else but a waiting game. been trying to reach customer support due to an issue with the software and haven't got any response. now the free trial is over and still no help from anyone. Shocking!
Very innovative and thoughtfully constructed. In-meeting notifications will keep you communicating clearly in the moment, and trends over time will help you ensure you are improving your communication over time.
As an early user, I must say poised made significant progress. There’s still a lot to do, like privacy policy and language support.
