Postman is a tool that I and my team frequently use in our daily development work. Advantages: Powerful Features: Postman offers a robust set of features that allow for the simulation of various HTTP requests, making it highly versatile for API testing and development. Flexible Configuration: It provides extensive customization options. Import/Export Support: Postman supports the import and export of collections, which simplifies the sharing and reuse of requests and environments across different projects and teams. Disadvantages: High Memory Usage: Postman tends to consume significant memory resources, which can affect performance. Inconvenient Tab Management: Closing multiple tabs in Postman is not as straightforward as it could be, often requiring multiple clicks and slowing down the workflow. Learning Curve: While user-friendly, some advanced features and configurations in Postman may require a steep learning curve for new users.

Postman is a highly convenient platform for me to work with APIs. It offers a wide range of tools, starting from designing and testing APIs to documenting and mocking them. I especially appreciate the ability to store and collaborate on all API artifacts on a single central platform, which enhances teamwork. The functionality of workspaces allows for organizing API work and collaborating with colleagues across the organization or beyond. Additionally, the management mechanism helps maintain high API quality in accordance with organizational standards. Overall, my experience with Postman has been positive and has significantly sped up the process of API development and testing.

Postman is the best tool for exploratory testing of APIs and for collaborating with your team. But for automation, you'll likely outgrow it and want to use a developer based testing framework like RestAssured (Java), SuperTest (JS), or Pytest + Requests (Python)

I've used Postman in multiple projects to sanity-check endpoints before they go into automated flows. The collection runner’s been great for quick regression passes, and I like using it to explore edge cases before they get scripted.

Postman makes debugging much more convenient for backend developers because building HTTP requests is really easy on Postman.By the way, I hope Postman can support subscription debugging on the platform.

Great tool for any API calls and pushes. Using it as a JSON blog poster for our site. UI can be a bit confusing for someone without any soft dev knowledge, but a great tool nonetheless.

Tool has a user-friendly interface with lots of options for testing API requests. It allows using as a single user and also as shared storage within the team.
