Here is my honest review: I'm a daily user of SoWork. For me, having a feature-rich meeting platform is a must: being able to record the meeting, blur my background, or nowadays even take notes and TODO items automatically through AI. SoWork solves all of them, and adds a layer of customization and human interaction on top of it. I was tired of Slack and videochats for remote working. Feeling disconnected was my pain point, it was killing my productivity. SoWork, on the other hand, makes me feel happy and connected every time I join the office and I see my teammates working in their personalized spots, each of them with their unique look and feel, expressing themselves and moving and interacting through the map and their avatars, just like in reality. I love the map customization and its isometric perspective, it's more powerful than a flat top-down 2D, like other alternatives out there; it has the richness of 3D while still keeping the simplicity of being 2D. I'm so looking forward for even more crazy interactions, like different kinds of dancing animations, and more social games to share with colleagues!
@vishyvish - I went through the demos on the website, really like the use-cases highlighted & shared with gifs! Definitely gonna try this with some remote team mates we have! Congratulations on the launch, product seems super engaging and helpful for remote teams. All the best!
Congrats on the launch! Easily the best looking virtual office platform out there, with the most soul. And you're not charged extra for it :) Sophia bot is a really nice touch, highly recommend anyone to try it.
I work remotely with my team on a daily basis and we need to be online many hours a day. For me the important thing is to have the opportunity to alternate between deep work sessions, in which I have to be focused, and moments when I need to connect spontaneously with a colleague to get unblocked and be really productive without long waits. Sharing a space that allows this versatility is a dream come true for me. Another important thing is that during these meetings we talk about many things, sometimes the best ideas arise spontaneously and if we are not able to be attentive and take note of all that, it is often lost, because then everyone continues with their tasks. In Sowork I have found all that. I feel that I am in a very connected place with my teammates. I love the spontaneous connections, and well, the possibility of getting a summary of my meetings or conversations with them is a real godsend. There is a before and an after after after trying that functionality. We can now choose the possibility that nothing is lost, and have a record of all our summaries. It has improved our productivity considerably. Apart from anything else, there is the visual aspect. As an artist I value this very much in every product I use and I can say that Sowork is really made with a lot of love. Both the artistic style and the customization possibilities bring me very close to the space and to my colleagues. I can't wait to see what these people have in store, but they manage to surprise me by bringing out new tools that feel like they can read my mind. Thanks guys!!!
To put it simply, for me at least, SoWork has not only heightened the hybrid work experience, it has surpassed it. Today, there are many features on the platform that I wish we had in real-life. These are so good and make so much sense that we even tried to implement some of these features, such as the ‘availability’ feature in our physical office ( by looking for banners that indicate when we are busy and when we are not.) Kudos for the team and their ability to think forward and to create not only the workspace of today, but the workspace of tomorrow, with Sophya’s latest addition, the AI-powered bot, we can only look forward for what’s next and the future of collaboration and work with you guys!
Working remotely truly feels... well, social, thanks to SoWork. I adore the small details, like the avatars and spatial audio, which make it simple to enter and exit conversations, much like in an office. In comparison to other virtual workspaces I've used, it strikes the perfect balance between socialising and working. However, it would be even better if they could streamline integrations with project tools and make it a little lighter on older laptops.
A game-changing virtual HQ that makes remote teamwork feel real—and fun! SoWork’s Glow-Up Edition is nothing short of transformative. It’s the rare productivity app that doesn't just patch over the pain of remote work—it reimagines what working together can feel like. From the moment you jump in, the performance is impressively snappy, and the revamped UI/UX strikes the perfect chord between intuitive and delightful. The new mobile apps are fully featured, making it seamless to stay connected on the go (way beyond the usual “lighter” mobile version). What really sold me, though, are the built-in games and charming touches—pets, customizable avatars, immersive office layouts—that contribute to genuine team chemistry. It’s a refreshing blend of "work" and "play" that still gets things done. The AI-powered meeting tools are also seamless: meeting summaries, recordings, and transcripts are integrated so smoothly that it removes email and app fatigue entirely. Team analytics add a layer of insight that helps you tune workflows without turning into a data scientist. A couple of features stand out as especially clever. First, the spatial video calls and spontaneous hallway-chat feel bring back the random conversations that foster ideas and camaraderie. Second, all of this is tucked into one platform, so you’re not bouncing between Zoom, Slack, Google Calendar—you just work together, more naturally. In short: it’s not just what SoWork offers—it’s how it feels. Remote collaboration that’s more human, more engaging, and frankly, a lot more fun.
I tried this product it is so cute and cozy. I had a very small team with around 7 ppl. I invited them to join the virtual office and we are all happy to play with it, decorate our character and gift each other badges. I think it gives a lot of emotional values and I will look forward to trying the productivity part. ps. I just wanted to advise that the chairs can be changed directions, and I found some tables cannot be assigned to people.
I've had phenomenal coworking and also social experiences on SoWork - night and day from remote work on Zoom because interactions among teammates feel so much more natural and spontaneous - I once even spun up an office with a "Tiki Bar" for a colleague's birthday party during the lockdowns! In my experience the SoWork team is also super-responsive to feedback and needs of customers.
SoWork stands out as a compelling virtual HQ, blending productivity tools with a social, game-like environment. It’s especially effective for teams seeking to nurture camaraderie and spontaneous communication remotely. Amazing!!1
To Vish and Emma, congrats on the product and customer experience! SoWork helped our young/gamer style company to be more fluid and communicative (such a hard thing nowadays), with a "The Sims" background so we can make fast and better decisions in a cozy virtual environment. Also, Vish and Emma are very hands-on and open to listen to its customers, also a different style then I'm used to. Congrats once again!
I’ve been using SoWork and really like the concept. It feels a lot more engaging than traditional remote work tools. The virtual office setup makes collaboration smoother and adds a sense of presence, which is something that’s often missing when working online. It’s easy to use, helps with team connection, and makes meetings feel less rigid. Definitely a cool tool for remote and hybrid teams.
Though the look is far from real life, the autonomy of being able to "walk" up and start serendipitous conversations, makes SoWork feel so much closer to real-life than Zoom ever has. Excited to see what developments they have in store!
