This looks super promising 👏 Love that Solid goes beyond prototypes and actually generates production-grade full-stack apps (Node.js, React, TypeScript). That’s a big step up compared to most AI builders. I’m curious: how well does the generated code handle long-term maintainability? For example, if a team wants to refactor or onboard new developers later, is the structure clean and readable enough?
🚀 Huge fan of Solid’s “real app, real code” stance. This isn’t another toy demo—React + Node.js + Postgres with clean, ownable code you can extend and migrate. If you’ve hit the Lovable/Base44 ceiling, this feels like the grown-up path to shipping production. Well done, team! 👏
I love this solution, i recommend it :)
Bang for your bucks
So I tried moving from another platform to this. Just prompts no code. Unfortunately I had errors, and I could not finish AI fixing the errors "You don't have enough credits to complete this request. Upgrade your plan or purchase additional credits to continue building." Edit: Didn't have a good experience in this case, but I appreciate the founder reply. My rating has more to do with my personal experience rather than the overall app capabilities. I would have appreciated it if 1. The bugs caused by the Solid system didn't cause credits to fix ( because remember all I came to the table with was prompts) 2. I have a clearer understanding, warning or discuss mode maybe? Because I may not have minded upgrading to a paid tier? But I wouldn't have known which paid tier could have coped with my demand. That's my feedback, but overall l like your project. I'm very excited about your mission and I hope you do very well.
Tried to build an app quickly. Really loved the experience. The fact that there is a real backend set this apart from others like Lovable. I haven't tried exporting the codebase yet, hope the exported code is readable/maintainable. Will continue to explore this further.
Having tried Lovable, V0 and Replit, I find Solid way superior. The only backdraw I see is that you end up being a paying customer way too early. The results given are top notch and you want to keep on going, but your credits are not enough. Great tool!
Tried Solid and it was a blast vibe-coding a local demo. I’m genuinely excited to see the barrier to deploy apps with a fully functional backend drop to ~zero.
