I used Hims because I had a couple month gap in my insurance due to changing jobs. I had two prescriptions. When I got my new insurance I cancelled my Hims prescriptions, or so I thought. Be very careful when canceling, and read every single bit of fine print. Only one of the prescriptions was cancelled, even though it seemed clear that I had cancelled my full subscription at the time. When I saw a payment come through, I immediately contacted Hims, same day, and before the item had shipped or had a tracking number. They sent me a stock canned response about needing a 48 hour notice to cancel and would not refund. Again, I got a notification from my bank that I had been charged and immediately contacted Hims. I saw that the item had not been shipped and requested a refund. The item is probably still sitting on a shelf and won't ship for a few days. It made me think that this is the way the company makes it's money. If you aren't paying very close attention, they will willingly rip you off. Pretty scammy.

NOT TRANSPARENT. They hook you into an autopay subscription at the very end of your purchase, in my case, for Semaglutide weight loss injections. I stopped the injections due to complications after 4 shots, communicated with them that I had problems and had to stop, yet they billed me for a second installment. I explained that I thought I had bought only a single purchase but they said no it was a subscription and refused to refund the full amount of the second bill. To finally cancel the subscription, I was unable to find an easy way to do so on-line so I contacted them. They sent a link that required me to drill down about 7 levels before finding "Cancel Subscription". I find these tactics to be predatory in nature. It should be as easy to cancel as it is to purchase!!

I bought it without looking into the reviews. They showed all positive reviews on their website. I have ordered the hair spray with great excitement. first, they mentioned its monthly payment subscription, but after two days they charged for 6 months' supply at a time. I reached them back and they are not convinced about the payment plan. what they mentioned while ordering is different and what happened is different. That is ok, I am compromised with the payment. I received the product in 5 days and i started the treatment on the same day. The next day I sprayed again and tried to massage gently with my fingers. OMG, I could see all the hair in my hand. I was panicked and shocked. Immediately I took head bath and i still see hair fall. Whatever the little hair i had, almost cleared 30% of them. Really depressed of this situation. I was struggling with hair fall and its like hitting with a hard stone my head with this adverse effect. Guys, please be careful. Being a medical research professional I got ditched with this product, cant imagine a common man.

I've been using Hims for my hair loss going on three years now. I also ordered their men's shampoo once which I really liked but ended up just going with Head & Shoulders because it's a bit cheaper. I like Hims' products/services, and the medication works for me. I've seen results for my hair, and I personally have not experienced any side effects. It's simple, convenient, and the meds they ship to you have the same active ingredients as the meds the doctor would prescribe to you. I've never had to cancel my subscription- as I've had no reason to- so I can't personally speak on customer service. One complaint I'm seeing a lot here is the side effects or effectiveness of the drugs that Hims provides. Listen, you must remember, these drugs have the same active ingredients as the meds the doc would give to you. To blame Hims for adverse side effects is the same as blaming the doc for adverse side effects, which, they always tell you the about before you order. The difference probably is that the doc may tell you face-to-face, which you are more likely to pay attention to, whereas the doc for Hims sends it in a message, and let's be honest many of us don't read those long messages. My point is: you have to do your own homework on these medications to see if they're right for you. Some personal responsibility comes with using Hims. Before ordering the meds, Google them, read about them, read the disclaimer the Hims doc sends to you, read about their side effects, and other people's experiences with them. Then, if you feel comfortable, go ahead with the order, if not, then don't. Hims is a for-profit business, they want to prescribe you the meds because that's how they make money and please their investors. That's capitalism. It's up to you as a responsible consumer to do your homework and decide whether or not their products and services are worth your money. If you don't do your homework, I think it's unreasonable to blame Hims for the side effects and the structure of their refill plans, which to be fair, they did tell you about beforehand, which you agreed to. If you didn't read about it and understand it, that's on you, in my humble opinion. Now, their customer service (which I've admittedly never dealt with before) sounds like it can use some improving based on these reviews. So that sounds like a legit cause for concern, and Hims needs to look into it. That being said, of course you cannot return the meds to Hims for a refund! That is a massive safety hazard. Many in-person pharmacies have the same policy. All in all, if you do your homework, read in full the details of what Hims sends you about the prescription, understand how it works, and then make an informed decision that is in your best interest, then the products/services that Hims (and these other telehealth platforms) provide are actually pretty dang good. I would recommend.

I’ve read many of the reviews, all with the same issue I have. So I cancelled just minutes after placing an order. I read all the possible side affects which included chest pains in other words heart attacks. So I figured being bald isn’t that bad I rather be bald than have heart issues. Anyway I followed the procedures to cancel which was a written reason and within 48hrs of shipment. And of course no answer what’s so ever. Next message I got was 2 days later saying your shipment was sent. I got no answer when I tried to cancel but assumed they canceled since I followed their steps. Of course now they answer and told me sorry nothing can be done. I can’t be refunded because I’m canceling after tracking number was given. Which is not true. It’s now they’re answering me but I canceled minutes after ordering so definitely no tracking number. I got the tracking number march 10th. I sent my cancel in writing March 7th. This company I robbing people. I hear the same from everyone. And it doesn’t even work from what people tell me. It’s just online rogaine. Same thing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Terrible customer service. I needed to cancel my order due to issues I may have with the treatment and medication I currently take. I cancelled within 10 minutes and after 5 emails and several submissions on their contact page, I still haven't received a response. They're quick enough to take your money, but make it nigh on impossible to cancel or get a refund. There's no phone number, no live chat options. It's done on purpose so they can ship the product out and then deny you a refund under the banner of it being "prescription based" and therefore impossible to sell on after they've shipped the item. You can't even change your card details or close your account without emailing them. What company does that in the 21st century? It's set up that way to scam you. Stay well clear. Go to a more reputable source that actually values customer service.

Good concept, poor execution. Slow shipping and highway robbery pricing. Immediately cancelled after the first shipment (too late to cancel after seeing slow shipping date) and I wish I didn't order in the first place. After I went to another provider for the same treatment, it was clear how much more Hims was ripping me off. Customer service couldn't return the shipment back to themselves to give me a refund. Should've done more research upfront. Hoping this helps someone else considering Hims. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Tried multiple products from this company: Finasteride, Minoxidil, etc. None of the products worked, which may be my own body, but cancelling the subscriptions is a headache. Currently dealing with a charge post-cancellation right now with my credit card company. Support was unapologetic and unhelpful in their role.

Terrible purchasing experience and customer service. They refuse to send out a simple email letting you know that your subscription is about to renew. After the order is placed, they let you know without any opportunity to delay or cancel the order. The product didn't work for me and I wanted to cancel. Within minutes of receiving the order confirmation email, I contacted them but they said it was too late. Total BS! These folks are CHEATS using scammy approaches and their customer service is worthless!

My experience with this company was too bad they are not clear enough with costumers when you looking to buy something from them Be careful please because they will charge you for 3 months 2 times they are playing with the price and if you ask the customer service team to cancel the payment they will charge you 50% for nothing even if the shipment was still not left from them I call the customer service to call the supervisor but I think the supervisor his not a person like us he or she rejected to call me after so much time it's not personal but it's my advice to everyone who looking to buy anything from this company.
