I've been using Backtrack since the V1 and found it an invaluable tool as a startup founder! Key use cases are when doing customer interviews, sales/bd and fundraising. I love that it's private, and you can set the data to delete after a period of time.
Let's keep it a buck, this product is a no brainer. It one of those staples that you need to have running, bc when you need it, you'll be so thankful you had it. This product doesn't make you smart and successful, but people who use it are smart and successful. Do what you will with that information.
The team and developers behind Backtrack 2.0 –makes it the ultimate tool for recovering lost data Whether it’s documents, photos, or files, Backtrack 2.0 has you covered. Get back what you thought was gone forever.
Backtrack is a great tool that I use throughout the day, not just for recording meetings, but for going back in time to check something I had seen or been doing earlier on my Mac. My only issue with the app is that it turns the video black on Apple TV+ when it is running in the background. It took me a while to figure this out!
I’ve been looking for a solution to record meetings you usually can’t like slack huddles /discord voice chats etc. And I really looked everywhere. It was so much of a satisfaction when I’ve accidentally found Backtrack, I was happy for a week! It is really an essential thing for any digital workflow to be able to recap. I’ve been using backtrack “for ages” now, and I see how Jordan and team improve it. That’s what I appreciate the most - you leave feedback and they actually make the idea come true! Good genuine job, guys!
I have been one of the lucky early adopters of Backtrack and I don't think words can convey how much it has improved my workflow. I look at it as my super charged memory booster and I NEVER have to remember to record a meeting ever again. I've introduced it to my team and we cancelled a more well known competitor product because we all use and love Backtrack. I'm at the point where if someone doesn't want to use Backtrack...well, more advantage for me. Great job Hunter and Jordan -- you are exceptional humans!
Congratulations on the launch. Great product and I believe the ability to choose what to record, when and who gets access is very useful when one is working with large cross-functional teams in different timezones. I haven't gotten to this point yet, but - does the app also allow for compression(size) of the recorded video? as a feature recommendation(may be you already have this on your roadmap) - it would be great if we were allowed to timestamp with our comments/POV, so the content we record becomes so much more valuable, instantly.
I’ve been using Backtrack since version 1.x and v2.x is such a huge improvement. It has allowed me to go back over internal discussions and meetings to allow me to check on what may have been missed during normal note-taking. I haven’t used the cloud recordings to generate transcripts and summaries yet, but I’m sure I saw it mentioned that generating transcripts and summaries would soon be available without uploading to the cloud (please correct me if I am wrong). All-in-all, I cannot fault Backtrack – everyone should use it!
This app's a lifesaver. I've had hundreds of conversations that I wish I recorded because someone (including myself) said something that I wanted to memorialized or use for my email. Especially with AI, having these call recordings and transcripts saves so much time. Thank you team.
Man, I love this app. Backtrack has helped me more times than I can count, and it's only getting better. Really good team, too (and/or founders), highly communicative and they seem to act on user feedback really quickly. Kudos.
I loved it from the beginning. I look way more organized and present in meetings than I naturally would be otherwise because I no longer have to take notes furiously to remember important takeaways during meetings.
This is a great idea and executed very well. I use Backtrack to save recordings of virtual meetings and interviews so I can review and learn from them.
