TiddlyWiki is a fantastic, open source, hyper-extensible app which can also be a single html file. I have found it to be a joy to use and to adapt, and it has a friendly, helpful community of fellow enthusiasts behind it. For the past year or two, I've been using it principally to write and explore ideas on all kinds of topics, but it has also started to become the place I store contact details, track habits, plan my day, take reading notes, and learn through spaced repetition and retrieval practice. It is an incredibly versatile piece of software with fantastic hypermedia capabilities. THANK YOU to Jeremy Ruston for creating it, and to the super-helpful community which supports it, and which I learn from every week.

Extremely powerful, flexible, and extendable. Advertises itself for note-taking and journaling, but can be used to create virtually anything you desire. It does have a steep learning curve, but this is more of an issue with the documentation than with the software itself, and the community is incredibly friendly and kind to beginners. I have used it for 4 years and it's been part of my everyday life since.

I use TiddlyWiki daily to note important links, copy / paste text from the net and manage a personal ToDo list. It is fast, versatile and highly configurable to my personal liking. TiddlyWiki never gets old. I still use a wiki from 2010 because it "just works" -- No need for an update.

It is my second brain or Zettelkasten containing my journals, daily activities, book notes, links, thoughts, status of personal projects, and other things I want to keep. I've used it for with data in my central TiddlyWiki back to 2017. It is simple and reliable, contained in one file.

TiddlyWiki … a beast-mode productivity tool capable of being molded to your own personal thinking-style and usage. It is fully-customizable, not cloud-tethered, and dependency-less, unlike anything else out there; Notion, Obsidian, Tana, Roam … these don't even compare. It is the preferred choice for privacy-first users who are looking for unique ways to curate personal information, expand their creative potential, and bring a measure of order to the chaos of today's information landscape. I cannot recommend it enough.

TiddlyWiki has been a fantastic companion to me. It lets me own my stuff and rest asured I can still use my notes in years to come. It is a great tool to collect knowledge and organize it. And I should mention it also helps me to organize my day. I prefer it to all the commercial apps that are out there like OneNote, Evernote.

I've been using TiddlyWiki for about 20 years. It is amazingly flexible and reliable. I trust my most precious/critical data to it. I've also written an inventory system (multi-user, Node.js) for the place I work. I can't say enough about it! Phenomenal achievement!!!

Fantastic for personal website masters and Digital Garden Builders, very competent in managing fragmented pieces of short notes and quick reference information. Also good for practicing Personal Digital Zettelkasten (or Luhman Slip-box Note-taking method)
