Adalo stands out for its remarkable simplicity, making it an excellent choice for quickly creating amateur proof-of-concept projects. Its user-friendly interface allows for the seamless design and development of applications without the need for extensive coding knowledge. However, its pricing system and the lack of access to the underlying code significantly hinder its potential for more serious, stable application development. These limitations are a major drawback for anyone looking to build a more robust and scalable app. As such, despite its ease of use, I find myself compelled to rate it only two stars. For hobbyists or those looking to rapidly prototype an idea, Adalo might be the ideal solution. Yet, for developers aiming to create a stable and scalable application, Adalo falls short of expectations.

We used to love Adalo for its ease of use and ability to publish to app stores, but after 3 years of waiting to see more updates and changes while paying, we realize it may be time to move on for the following reasons: 1. Poor customer service and tech support - Cold and unappreciative, if you can get a response out of them at all. They treat their users like just another statistic on their monthly reports, rather than actual humans. 2. Unfair pricing - Adalo is coercing their users into signing up for their new plan even before their pre-paid legacy plans have expired. Adalo refused to refund us the unused portion (75%) of our legacy plan and locked us out of our workspace before our plan expired so that we cannot access our own IP. We have had to report them to Consumer Protection Agencies as a result of these hostile measures by Adalo. 3. Unfixable, unidentifiable bugs - You can't use a debugger, and even after spending thousands on hiring an Adalo expert to help, new issues would arise on portions of the app that did not have any issues before. Very disappointed with how Adalo is treating its early adopters, who once used to be evangelists for them. We regret having been their early supporters and paid anything to use their platform at all.

Congratulations with the launch and good luck! I have some my slightly negative comments as one of your paid users. DIRECT XANO INTEGRATION requires you to be on team plan which costs 200 USD/month. Their most popular package is Professional plan -65 USD- (their claim on their pricing page) which does not have Xano integration. Basically even if you have already access to Xano for your other projects you still need to to spend 3X to be able to use Xano for external users. I wish they also had address some critical issues such as app wide variables, enums for dropdown choices etc.

I use Adalo to make small apps that make my productivity fly. Things that would take me a lot of time can be done in 1/10th of the time. The product is really simple to use, and having an easy way to publish to the app store and play store is really helpful. I love having the ability to write custom code, as custom components, as this overcomes the main limitation of low code platforms. So with this approach and its easiness of use! Adalo is great! Its also got lots of integrations like zapier, mixpanel and Xano which allow to further expand the feature set. The easiest no code tool I've found, can be pretty powerful, with these combinations.

I have spent the past two years learning to produce a number of apps using the platform. The learning curve is so steep that initially I found real joy in the process and the community is on the whole very helpful. It has been mentioned before that the real issues don't show up until you have invested your time (and money). After a year I had become sick of waiting for a subscription component to be released and repurposed my app. I launched on Google without any issue whatsoever but the iOS version crashed at launch. Despite over 50 Testflight versions over two months of customer support, nothing changed and I lost my momentum. The app became unviable and the investment of my time too risky. I have had to completely start again and in all honesty, I wish I had never discovered the product. I have not even mentioned the lack of GDPR support either which in effect makes producing apps in Europe almost impossible. Please make sure you understand the limits of the product and if you are going to use it, start small and evolve rather than trying to launch a fully rounded product to avoid disappointment. The only positive is that I now use the intuitive systems to quickly make small basic apps for fun and my own personal use which the free part is good for.

Adalo has a super chronic problem that its clients have been complaining for years. The app fail to develop a secure connection to browsers due to an error in the SSL CERTIFICATE. Their workaround is simple: “buy yourself a custom domain”, they say (which is a nonsense since many users are not willing to pay for a domain in the early stages of their projects). The ugliest true is, however, that even when you add your own domain, the error still continues. Just do a quick Google search or visit Adalo’s proper community to find what I am talking about.

Adalo as a company has one of the worst customer service experiences and probably one of the most customer unfriendly organization, you could ever have. In the world were organizations do everything to be customer first, these guys are focused on customer last. They have a community who doesn't necessarily respond to questions. Their customer service team takes days to revert back and even then isn't helpful at all. After days of non-replying you would get a response, please look for it in adalo academy, hire an adalo expert etc and say this isn't in their purview to respond, but sadly they don't respond to questions which are in their purview too. They have plugins which are very expensive, for even very basic functionalities. All they want to do is for you spend and spend some more, Creating basic functionality like a forgot password functionality or adding multiple images is tedious. If you have any doubts go to their youtube channel and see for yourself, how you have to go through creating each of the functionality and decide for yourself. Their plans are expensive, but value delivered is extremely poor. You have ideas that you want to see it come through, these guys make it so difficult, best to avoid them, else it will cost you your dream.

At the first time, I love Adalo but since they release the new unfair price structure with "App Action" limit, I call my friend in the real world to stop use this platform to run the business. More than that the more people complaining in their forum is the more they close the topic and hidden it. I'm not trust Adalo any more, everything is upon them, you cant have your code, you need to stick with them until you die , and they not listen to customer. I give 2 star because its very user friendly. Think wise and longterm , no one know when is the next bug change come and that time your voice to them is mean nothing.

Adalo is arguably the easiest nocode platform to build an app. There is much talk about the recent price changes and how that effects us makers. The basic plan has actually gone down in cost (so not sure why folks are complaining) and the other more advanced plans give assess to features that would take your app to the next level. It only makes sense that prices go up as the cost to run a business goes up too. If us, as makers and start-up business owners can't find a way to monetize our apps, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the way we are doing business. Any expectation that cost increases won't happen reside in a fantasy reality. It is important to understand that as a start-up bugs and kinks will need to be worked out. No one is expected to get everything right the first time. I imagine that constructive feedback though the proper channels is appreciated and not biased disgruntled comments on public forums. I appreciate what Adalo is trying to do and understand that they are on a journey to improve even more. It will be interesting how the company grows and how they can change app making for us non-coders.

It is amazing that we are in an era where you can build a mobile app by dragging and dropping stuff on a screen! Adalo was the easiest builder that I've used so far. I have some technical experience from working with various web CMS platforms for ages, so I happy to see the features (like custom actions and external APIs) that allow me to integrate my app with other services. Excited to see how this product keep growing.
