Backendless

I see it as the best nocode app builder out there(tried Airtable + Softr, Notion obviously, Coda, Jetadmin, Plasmic, Tooljet, Noodl - you literally name it and boom - I tried it). It's valid, intuitive plus extremely powerful(I actually didn't see such combination among nocode builders). It's a backend and frontend combined. But as a bonus there's step by step crystal clear education of the platform on YouTube and Gamified lessons inside the platform with even programming observation itself(yes, the level of support is just fantastic, God bless the founder Mark Piller - what a wise soul). It's automation added recently (which caused this overload of emotions and posting this review). Well, that is like a humongous park for the app growth after separate gardens offering some useful but not sufficient tooling for your business. I love it really much as it provides me with all I need, I feel protected without being overprotected though. Backendless is open source too. I feel like I'm simply on the right track with this one. LOVE IT.

I have been trying out lowcode/nocode solutions for quite some time now, and being based in Europe, Backendless stood out for their support for GDPR legislation, but also their outstanding support community and direct involvement in communicating with that community. While there are other alternatives that are more front-end heavy, the solid and thought-through scaleability and robustness of the backend should make this a choice for many a developer who don’t want or need to maintain their own backend. Plus - the nearness to the metal makes this almost unbeatable when it comes to customization! After doing trials, we are now on the cusp of releasing our first app using the platform, and will heartily recommend it to others as well! :)

Backendless is an intelligently designed low-code platform for any web application that requires a strong database back-end, versatile implementation of business rules, and a pleasant, responsive UI. I have tried other platforms (e.g., Bubble and AirTable) and have found no other low-code tool that delivers the power and flexibility of Backendless. The power of the technology is made so much better by the amazing support provided directly by Backendless engineers and even it founder. Getting started with Backendless also is quite easy. The founder has recorded excellent tutorials on all the basics and several advanced features.
