I regret to say that my experience with resume.io online service has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. My initial encounter with Resume.io service was marred by the fact that I was charged a subscription fee for the first month without clear notification or consent. This was an unpleasant surprise, as I had only intended to use the service to create my resume. When I reached out to your customer support team to request a refund, I was informed that it was not possible due to company policies. Instead, I was offered the option to pause my account, which I accepted, thinking it would resolve the issue. Several months later, my account was automatically reactivated without my consent or intervention. Naturally, I contacted your customer support team once again, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, I received the same response – a refusal to issue a refund based on company policies. To make matters worse, I was informed that pausing my account was a one-time option, and I was no longer eligible for this as well. Frustrated and disheartened, I humbly requested a partial refund, considering the circumstances, but my plea was met with indifference. In total, I have been charged a substantial amount of ₹5000 for a service that I not only found inadequate but also experienced numerous issues with. This has left me deeply dissatisfied and disappointed in Resume.io company's policies and customer service.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was charged 7 days early for theie subscription. I had intended on canceling (which is when I found out the charge had already been processed). I contacted the company immediately, and was told that they would put in my issue and get a refund processed. I then received an email denying my request saying my account was older than 7 days and no refund would be issued. I contacted the customer service again, explained again and was told that they would escalate my request as it was obviously a mistake. Nope, no response from the company. Called a third time, spoke to another representative and was told the same thing. I then emailed them along with screenshots of my bank invoices and proof of cancellation. No response. I’ll be contacting my bank to report/block any further charges from them and see if they can refund the fee and pursue action against the company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

An ATS-friendly resume builder, good and easy to use tool, great user experience. Resume builder has text suggestions, custom sections, tips & tricks that help you build your resume, custom colors, photo editor, pdf-download, etc. You can customize section titles, colors, font size and drag & drop sections. What I really like is that you can click through all templates to see how each template works out for your resume. Is also has a lot of additional features: matching cover letter templates, job/application trackers, resume & cover letter examples for specific jobs that you can copy into you own resume and adjust to your personal story. Make sure you check out their blog with LOTS of information on resumes, cover letter writing, career, etc. The free option is great, but the premium version has some perks that are definitely worth the price.

I signed up for the 7-day trial thinking I could test the service without being charged, but was automatically billed for a monthly subscription without any clear warning or notification. There was no transparency around the pricing — I didn't see any clear mention during sign-up or in the follow-up emails that I would be charged unless I canceled. I reached out to support for a refund, explaining that I never intended to subscribe and haven't used the service since, but they refused, citing a policy hidden behind the trial. Very disappointing customer experience and feels like a misleading billing practice. I don’t plan to use Resume.io again and wouldn’t recommend it to others based on how this was handled.

Misleading trial payment used to set up Subscription. You build a resume after you've done all the work it tells you, you have to pay £2.95 to download it. Fair enough so I paid that. What they then don't say is they automatically sign you up to a monthly cost of £19.95 without asking you and use the previous transaction to authorise the subscription. Total scam avoid at all costs.

I would like to report that this company is completely fraudulent. I made a small, one-time payment to download a CV, but they automatically enrolled me in a trial membership without my consent or knowledge. They continued to deduct monthly charges from my account without notifying me, and I only discovered it recently. This practice is deceptive and highly unethical.

I've been charged for four months after canceling my trial subscription. However, their support did respond to me. At first, they denied the charges, but after I sent them a screenshot of my bank account history, they claimed there was an account with a SIMILAR login to mine (same, but without dot, which is impossible, as I signed up directly with my Google account), and that the premium subscription was on that account. That's a ridiculous level of scam, NEVER provide them with your bank data!
